Amal Clooney

Amal Clooney, born Amal Ramzi Alamuddin is an American-Lebanese human rights barrister activist and philanthropist. Graduate of Oxford University School of Law, and New York University School of Law. Amal Clooney is a veteran with a prosperous career as a lawyer and human rights advocate. Some of her most prominent clients include several nation-states including the country of Armenia as it fights for acknowledgement of Armenia's Armenian Genocide by the Turkish government. Amal Clooney was married American actor George Clooney and became a famous name in popular culture in 2014. Prior to this, she was already been well-known in legal circles, and was admired for her ability to represent clients. The scope of her practice covers human rights, social justice issues to representing several multinational companies in legal proceedings and negotiations concerning government regulations.
