Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson is the daughter of British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby (born in Paris) as well as Chris Watson (born in Paris). At the age of five years old when she left for Oxfordshire and went to at the Dragon School. Emma was six years old when she made the decision to become an actress. She trained for several years in Stagecoach Theatre Arts, a part time theatre school in Oxford where she was taught singing and acting. David Heyman, the producer of Harry Potter Harry Potter's Sorcerer's Stone, as well as Ron Weasley told Emma after the eight auditions that she'd been chosen for these roles. She was cast alongside Daniel Radcliffe Rupert Grint and Rupert Grint. The film's release Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001) was Emma's debut on the screen in cinema. The film broke records for the opening day sales as well as opening week-end take-offs and was the highest-grossing film in 2001.
